Come celebrate peace with “Coming Home” – Envisioning Peace

featuring Elaine S. Porter and Jane Parillo Rollins

And special events throughout a month of “Peace, Remembrance and Hope”

September marks 80 years since the beginning of World War II, and celebrates the International Day of Peace on September 21. Westerly-Pawcatuck is proud to be an International City of Peace, and this month the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery reflects these themes in “Coming Home” - Envisioning Peace, featuring artists Elaine S. Porter and Jane Parillo Rollins.

Come meet the artists at the show’s Opening Reception - Friday, September 6th, from 5 to 8PM. Come help create 1,000 Peace Cranes as a wish for world peace at our Peace Crane and Peace Flag Workshops on Sept. 1stand on the International Day of Peace, September 21st, from 11AM to 1PM.
