Summer’s here, and all we want to eat is seafood, preferably fried and with a great ocean view. To motivate us all through an indulgent season of flipper-licking food, here’s a checklist of 10(ish) clam shacks we all need to hit this season.
Blount Clam Shack
335 Water Street, Warren; 684 Bullocks Point, Riverside. (Two locations, one box to check. No bonus points for both, but pat yourself on the back!)
Flo’s Drive In/Flo’s Clam Shack
324 Park Avenue, Portsmouth; 4 Wave Avenue, Middletown. (Two different experiences, one box to check. No bonus points for both, but a tip of the hat for your commitment!)
Jim’s Dock
1175 Succotash Road, Wakefield.

Iggy’s Doughboys & Chowder House
889 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick. (The Iggy’s in Narragansett – 1151 Point Judith Road – counts for this one, too.)
Lola’s Blue Farm
A food truck, so various locations, but based in Narragansett. (Also it’s gluten-free, meaning it counts as a wild card if you have dietary restrictions. Eat here 10 times to complete the challenge, but please provide a doctor’s note for it to count!)
