Haunted By Waters

Posted by Jayne4

Haunted By Waters opens on Nov. 2 – Nov. 26, with an opening reception on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Jayne Guertin Schlott was the 2018 East Greenwich Library Winter’s Eve Jurors’ Award Winner. The cash award included a November solo exhibit in the Howard Silverman Gallery. We’re happy to host Jayne Guertin Schlott’s solo exhibit: Haunted by Waters. We hope you will visit the gallery and enjoy Jayne’s exciting artwork. You can meet and talk with Jayne about her art at the opening reception, Nov 7.

Jayne is a writer, poet and an award-winning photographer. She has exhibited her photographs throughout the country. Her practice is focused on the natural beauty of the vernacular, and looking closely for long periods of time, year after year, in order to understand her subject. She lives in a riparian zone, and is surrounded by streams, ponds and other waterways that are both her muse and mirage. A Pushcart Prize nominee, her written work has been published nationwide and has appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Yankee Magazine, Rhode Island Monthly, and various literary journals.
