The name of the deal is Wine, Dine, and Doze Wednesdays, and if you happen to be free for two consecutive weekdays, it’s an incredible bargain: The Break Hotel is one of the most recognizable hotels in South County, a stone’s throw from the coast. Describing itself as “surfer chic,” The Break still offers luxurious rooms all winter, when the rest of Narragansett goes quiet and only a handful of surfers dot the ice-crusted beach.

Many couples would jump at a $200 getaway, but the package goes well beyond accommodations. You are also admitted to Wine Wednesdays, a tasting with paired hors d’oeuvres, and receive an $85 credit to your meal at Chair 5, the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant. And as if that weren’t enough, you can order a bottle of wine with your dinner for half-off.

While there are some holiday conflicts and blackout periods, the deal is good for most Wednesday stays between now and March 31 of next year.
