Posted

Trendy, edgy, form fitting and tailored clothes with jewelry and bags to match all under one roof? Yes, please. Elle G, an award-winning boutique, has recently moved shop from Wickford to the Emporium in Kingston. Located adjacent to the URI campus, the new location is a perfect fit for owner Lauren Young’s target audience: fashion conscious woman ages 17-35.

Lauren hits the NYC trade shows a few times a year to bring fashion forward styles to her store. There are perfect tops that will take you day to evening with a quick change of accessories or choose from more daring looks with asymmetrical cut outs. Dresses range from classic lace slips and traditional A-lines to body con knits with dramatic neck or backlines. You can easily find something suitable for a semi-formal dinner as well as a rocking outfit for a night out at the clubs. Top that off with a great selection of denim and day wear as well as camisoles, bras and panties and Elle G has you covered.

Don’t stop at the clothes though. Check out the selection of jewelry including rings, bracelets and funky, chunky necklaces. There are bags for every occasion from casual to evening including a silky clutch with a jeweled skull catch. Scarves in a multitude of colors and patterns add to your look and are just perfect for summer near the ocean are the made-in-Newport Baywood Sunglasses. These are made of bamboo and they float, so no more worries at the beach or on the boat.
