The Easter Egg Hunt Is On

Get your little scavengers out for these egg-cellent egg hunts

Posted

Easter's just around the corner and this weekend will see several egg hunts popping up across Rhode Island. From candy-filled plastic egg hunts to more challenging, camouflagued egg snooping, there's something in store for all your little explorers this weekend.

Saturday, March 28

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Wilcox Park, Westerly
Children aged 1-8 get to meet the Easter Bunny and Lucky the Duck while hunting for candy filled eggs. More info...

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island Camouflage Egg Hunts
The ASRI will be holding camouflage egg hunts in Bristol, Smithfield and Exeter. Kids will learn quickly what snkes and hedgehogs have known all along – camouflaged eggs are a lot harder to find in the wild than plastic neon ones. More info...

Sunday, March 29

Egg Hunt Safari
Roger Williams Park Zoo, Providence
Kids will be asked to follow clues that will lead them all over the zoo in order to find carefully hidden eggs. Just make sure they don't accidentally swipe one out of some protective mama bird's nest. More info...
